Thats what happens when disabled icons dont import correctly. Fist thing you do is check the file paths to make sure it is correct. Disabled icons have different paths then normal icons.
Although sometimes it happens even when file paths are correct. One way to fix that is to import your icons with the name and filepaths of an already existing icon, say, a knight or something, so it automatically replaces it with the new icon when the map starts....it's never gone green on me when I do that.
