This skin which is not mine was posted on the helper texturing contest. I am looking at the skin noticing its unfinished, and monotone. This person has given me permission to post this skin here to get some professional skinners opinions. Most of the people who are voting for him are voting because of the snowflakes, they will be blurred and barely noticeable in-game. So what do you people think of this skin.

Well that is both of their faults, blizzard and the skinner. Blizzard made no depth, and he used the same shading lines and shapes.

If you also don't notice that the whole entire lich there is different than the regular lich model so i really couldn't do it like that. Explain to me by what you mean by Depth.

This is not very good, the snowflakes don't look good at all and I don't get why people would vote for the skin because of those. They seem to not even be drawn by the author anyways. The skin itself also seems very blurry, but that might be caused by my schools horrible monitor.

The originality also seems to be non existing.

They vote for the skin because the snowflakes look spiky and icy close up, although they have no shading, nor are made by him. You wouldnt notice anything other than a blue blob ingame.

the snow flakes do look good...and fire i don't see why you say they look like blurs from far away. They look fine in wc viewer from far away. and no the snow flakes weren't drawn by me...and it's not done and it's my first skin and of course it's not original 1 i had 2 days to do it and i had to think of something real quick and plus i wanted to make one for my game but i did ask fire and he gave me one =] so... and i doubt it's the snowflakes

Yeah...its the snowflakes. The rest of the skin is normal except its blue.

cause there are people in the world that don't pay attention and the general public likes ice lich's more than draenei guys [don't ask me why personally yours is better than mine.] plus draenei's are drab with their purple. people pay attention also to bright colors. such as blue =] though your whole skin is blue pretty much. and maybe some of these people haven't played WoW and think that it's not Draenei idk don't ask me [and i still doubt it's the snowflakes.]

and i'm not using it...so i made it a piece of artwork =/ fireeffect already made me a lich skin and do you really think i'd go over a professional skinner and use mine? Of course not..so i won't be using this skin xP

Look at it, CnP on the snowflakes and shitty smudge tools for the ice...

This has no point whatsoever. I lacks freehand and effort.

First off, it needs shading. Ice has shading.

Second, no smudge. Use layers.

Third, remove the snowflakes, they look terrible, but they look reaaaally good compared to teh rest of the skin (that says a lot)
