I need model import help!

Im new to this entire model editor thing so i need help finding out how to get the models you download into world editor. It just never works for me.

Thanks for the help but...

Thanks for the 2 websites posted. They helped me with the first concept but now for some reason, when i try to find the file to load it into the import manager, the file isnt where i saved it. I dont know if its how i save it or where i save it, it just is never there. thanks.
