I need help in auto training

Hi
When i auto train a unit,i found that i cant upgrade it, it show a shaded icon
all i want to train a milita and when i want to upgrade my barrack to level 2 , i cant , it show me a shaded icon of my upgrade help plz

Well when you train a unit you can't upgrade any thing till all build orders are completed. That's why its dark

What do you mean by "auto-train". Also what do you mean by "upgrade it".
