Omg... Goblin in a stereotypical Japanese RPG SCV-like-armour; Examples: Vanguard (unsure class name), FFX-2 (Rikku), etc. Make it shoot out of its hands like the Tachikomas from Ghost in the Shell. It's genius because it's so obvious nobody would even think about touching it.

How bout a goblin wearin a suit with a machine gun in one hand a glock in the other. Black sunglasses and a pet chicken o.o That would pwn right there now.

A goblin scorpion tank.. with a stinger laser and pincers that... idunno, or any tank at all... with spring loaded boxing gloves or other kooky stuff goblins might do to a tank.
How about a goblin model plane-ish aircraft that shoots rockets and other stuff..
Goblin jet pack soldier.
Goblin electrician, with a mechanical suit and taser-ish weapons.
Goblin stealth spy.. with cloaking gear and mysterious goggles.

I believe that Yoshimitsu is actually from Tekken.

A good idea, goblin capable of enhancing itself based on the mechanical enemies it deals death blows to while using a certain arrows-like ability.

you believe correctly, he appears in soul calibur but his real home is tekken. also he looks really stupid in soul calibur.
