So you know where the file is? (beside "in Window Media Player") You have to know where so you can import file. I'm not sure about if it will support your music extension.
If im correct, It has to be in mp3 format to be put in a map. I don't recall if they are acessible via Windows media player. Besides, music take up alot of space...one of my smallest sound files i ever used was 992 kb (almost 1/4 of the map size!)
Yes, this is very true. The best way to use high file size music would be in a cinematic. Never try this in a regular multiplayer map.
The other option is importing a small "video game" music file and using that. You could even import a couple of them if the file size is small enough and play them at different sections in your map. And when I say "video game" music, I am talking about those simple ones you hear in arcade or gameboy games that don't require a lot of file size to sound clean.
also if you use music i have a program called"dBpowerAMP Music Converter" to convert to correct extension and can compress quote from help
"WMA Lossless compresses audio without loosing quality (what is uncompressed is identical to what went in), compression will be around 50% (or 2:1)."
