I can't even join a game without lagging out.

Today when David got online, we wanted to play some Warcraft. We started out where I hosted a game. EVERYONE lagged out because my hosting was so slow. Then we decided to join a game. Then I lagged out.
I have 2mbit and soon 512 upload. What's wrong???

i've had this before, try turning off your router, then turning it back on again.

A simple reset like this is all it takes to get mine back up to speed.

i had some laggin out problems because i didnt have my router connected to the master socket, it means that less connect get through and so u lag and sometimes lose connection all together. try plugging it into the master socet,see what happens

what is the master socket?

edit: oh wait, you mean power socket

no every house has a master socket, it is the main socket which connects to the main phone line. all the other sockets are slave sockets and are in a star network from teh master socket.

I'm using that, I still get problems. That being said a restart is all it takes to sort the problem for me.

it happens rarely, and im pretty sure the router automatically updadets its firmware.

it really isnt a hassle though. Unplug the router, wait five seconds, plug router back in, wait another 30 seconds and youre sorted

my router is connected to all the pc's in my house. So if no computer is on then the router and the modem is turned off. (my dads answer for saving powa). It's just too bad my computer is turned on almost all day :]

Naah. for 3 days my internet sucked. But it's ok now.
