How to protect map from being hacked?

Guys how can i protect my map better? I use some oudated tool from 2005 but IT works a bit

A guy is treating me that he will hack my map and create his own version if i dont change my map and do this what he wants, this guy Has experience at map editing also

I know its not possibile to protect map fully but recommend me the most effective way!

And if he steal your map it’s not anymore your map because your map is done by your ideas your gameplay you can do a aos like Dota but it will never be dota... he’s talking shit..
Dont listen to him and keep working to your map

The best protection is to have a community where you distribute your legitimate map, that way, no one will play stolen versions.

I never protect any of my maps because I update them every time I find time and I’m not lazy so people added me and for now I have 200 friends on bnet so if people like your game they will play your version because of the ideas and the flare your game has

Obfuscation is still the best "protection" since it makes modifying existing trigger code very difficult. Especially if the map is trigger heavy or has very complicated triggers.
