How to pass variable into runtextmacro?

How do I do this?

        public static method createItem takes integer rawcode returns nothing
           //! textmacro example takes I
          
           //! external ObjectMerger w3t horl $I$
           //! endtextmacro
          
           //! runtextmacro example(rawcode)

How exactly do you suppose this would work? rawcode is only known at runtime and ObjectMerger runs at compiletime.

I came across this system System - ItemStruct, it does allow to create Items with scripts, I'm trying to achieve same thing.

I'm guessing I need to do whole thing by TextMacros, as you said, I need to get them done during compile time
