I read that it is still not possible to import everything properly from an
existing wc3 model like particles and similar stuff.
So what do i have to do when i just want to modify some animations from existing wc3 units for example, that the unit doesn't lose anything
when i replace the original with the modifcation?

yes, that was also the tool that i tried.
still i read something about that its not 100% everything from the model is imported correctly and i think i read also something about a particle problem.
anyway it seems you can work with it, but i still wonder if you lose something
after exporting the model again to the game - which may cause other problems then.
