How to make use of the teamcolor effect at an attachment?

I mean I've attached a model (lightblade) to the hand of a model, but it's always red. Normaly (not attached) the model changes its color to the color of owning player, but when I attach it it doesn't work anymore.

Please can somebody help me with that??

I don't think that attachments and team colour works properly. Corse, I never use attachments. So what do I know?

I thinnk there has to be a way to use them cause I've seen it in the map starwars rampage(which is protected)

So if somebody knows how, please tell me.
