How to make the Whole map BLACK?

Hello guys, how do i make the whole map black so i cant see the map?

 

[Day-Elven]

1. If you mean fog of war, use

• Events
  • Map initialization
• Conditions
• Actions
  • Visibility - Enable fog of war
  • Visibility - Enable black mask

2. If you mean minimap, delete war3map.blp from MPQ.

in your case just import a completely black image

so you mean you want your minimap being black in the beginning, but if you run around the areas should become visible? if so use the trigger that Day-Elven showed you.

And i got the same trigger as Day-elven showed but still not working ..

Sry, mistake. You need ENABLE black mask at first, and then fog of war. When you DISABLE first should be disabled fog of war, and then mask.

No, but if you'll need, the first should be disablled fog of war=)
When you enable, it's vice versa, first should be enabled a black mask.

I don't think that it's possible to make the black minimap at the game start and then to make it not-black. You can make it black forever by deleting file from MPQ as i described. Note: when will you save the map at the next time, this file will be restored. So you need to delete it directly before you optimize the map and host it.

The black mask seems to just set everything to unexplored.

I could've sworn it used to actually mask the minimap black... and the terrain an actual black. But eh.
