How to make swords appear in the hand of the hero

I know this is a noob question but still can you awnser.I wanna know to make swords appear in the hand of a hero i created(i already dled the model for the sword)

I know that you intend this to be a introduction and question but honestly this thread goes in a different section.

Well as far as the introduction goes, Welcome to the Hive Workshop. If you have anything you want to learn how to do (like putting a weapon into a units hand) you can check the Tutorials section any time you want. I would encourage you to take a look at the rules, but, there are some important rules that I can tell you now.
1: Try not to double post. Double posting is annoying and against the rules, so please try to avoid it, there are some excuses for double posting but you should check the rules for that. in the case that you want to add to your post simply click the Edit button in the lower right hand corner of the post that you want to edit.
2: Don't Necropost. Necroposting is when a thread has not been posted on for a few months it is considered 'dead' if you post in a 'dead' thread than it is called necroposting; this also has some excuses but please read the rules to find them.
3: Search before you post. there is a forum tool called search that searches the forum for a key word or posts by a single user. please us it to make sure what you want to post has not already been posted.
also in the Hive Workshop there is something called Reputation. you can give reputation freely but if you have given it to somebody recently you are not allowed to give it to that same person again immedietaly, you must first give reputation to others. If you look underneath someones username you might see this

, that is a Reputation gem (rep) which is an indicator of how much reputation the person has; to see the meanings of each size and color rep gem you can check the rules.
