How to make a 2D model ?

This question might be dumb, but I don't know how to make a model have a 2d image that always turns towards the player no matter from what angle you look it.

Does anyone know?

It's like some models of buffs i saw in the model section.

right-click the bone/helper, select "edit node", "flags" at the bottom
"billboarded" makes it fully face the camera like some missiles or effects, which sounds like what you need
"billboarded lock z" is used for auras
lock x & y are broken or something, don't touch them
