How to increase the number of possible textures

You are limited to 16 texture slots. Each node in the w3e file is allocated 4 bits. Although the format supports more than 2 cliff types, the game will not load any more than 2.

The game loads cliffs first and then defined textures. Cliffs have a dependiency on a texture so will always import it in the appropiate slots. Custom tileset definitions are ignored completly if the appropiate flag is set.
