I can't find art-model file-portrait anywhere in the editor. When I read tutorials, I can see that field, but in my editor there is none. Custom made tutorials don't even show specifically how to import portraits. How do I do it then?

Another thing is that I want to import Paragon by 67 chrome skin which is based o nthe footman model. I want only one unit in the game get that skin, while the rest remain just normal footmen without the skin. How do I do that?

Now I ran into another problem: I can't import disabled and enabled icons into same field. When requirements for my upgrade aren't met, the icon is a green block, and when they are met it's normal. If I put passive icon, then it's the opposite. How do I import multiple icons into the same field, or is there another trick here?

Don't freak out if you don't have those fields. As long as you've imported a model file with a naming convention similar to the example below you're fine. The editor will figure it out itself.

Example:
Your custom model is named grkljan.mdx
As long as you have imported a corresponding portrait model named grkljan_portrait.mdx you'll be good to go.

Well, I didn't notice a change in the portrait, but I guess I have to look better. Anyone knows answer to the rest of my questions?

You can use an MPQ brownser and look in war3.mqp on your warcraft 3 folder for the original footman model, and import it on your map. Then you apply the skin to the original and use the imported model on your normal footmen. I don't really know, but i guess there's not another way. It's up to you decide if that it's worth the file size gain on your map :)

*I suggest the Mago's Model Editor, it have a good mqp brownser

Some models have a own camera so the portrait is on the own model. If you ask for permission/the model is yours/blizzard's you maybe can edit that camera.
