How to Import a Character to....

How do you Import a Character from a different map to another map?
I'm new here and to Map making..and I don't even think I post on the right Section..sorry for the inconvience.

When you say Character do you mean a model for a Character or a set of spells? can you tell me what exactly you downloaded? a link would be best? this information would help me help you

If you mean importing units
Object Editor->File->Export Object Editor Data
Then open your new map
Object Editor->File->Import Object Editor Data.

Models/skins (customly made) = Import mannger > export file(s)

Spells(non-triggered)/units = object editor > copy > paste

Spells(customly made(triggers)) = trigger editor > copy > paste

Sounds(Custom) = Import mannager > export file(s)

That's prtty much it, what you'll neeed to export/copy

If you mean "transfer" your character from one map to another.
