As far as I am aware the LUA functionality required for "external object merger" has not been functional for a long time (since JNGP stopped officially being maintained at WC3C). I believe some unofficial JassHelper revisions released since do fix the functionality but I am unsure.

Any sort of error is generally bad, especially with JassHelper. It can prevent the map script from being built or cause systems that involve the error to not work correctly.
