I believe for an antistuck, Hero Wars makes their troops windwalk every 5 seconds or something and make it so this WW does not alter the vertex coloring. This way they'll pass through any blocks. I'm not entirely sure about the details though.
Also try not spawning too many units, rather make them powerful. Or use different players for the creeps, because a player can only have <FPS> amount of units moving at the same time.
