How to create an image immediately like in DotA?

Wish:
I want to create a mirror image like it was used in DotA by the Phantom Lancer.
You know? There was the ability to cloak himself and create an image in the same animation as the caster. The image was suddenly there.

Problem:
I know, there is that ability regular used by the Staff Of Illusions.
It creates an illusion as the Blademaster's spell does.
But I never learned how to order a unit to use a spell. I only know how to order a unit to cast one of those standard abilities.


Some hints how to solute the problem may help. =)

Wait a second i'll upload the trigger i tried

• Unit - Order (Last created unit) to (Order((Name of ABILITY ))) on TARGET

which is a trigger only used by WEU.

The only available one in WE is the one having this list of standard abilities instead of a string order.

Here's how you do it.

Create an item based on Wand of Illusion and edit its values, mana cost and abilities

Create a trigger

Trigger it when the unit starts the effect of your ability

Create a dummy unit via triggers and create the item and give it to the unit

Order the dummy to use the Wand of Illusion edited item without a mana cost

You have your illusion

That should work. Then i hide those, set them to variables and they are usable for replacements for other units. Brilliant, thanks!
But all those abilities and items are bad for uploading in Hive's spell category.
Are you an advanced Jass-user, or do you just know a possibility to do that in Jass without using all that stuff?

I have no imaginations of how Jass uses the command lines i also have via using triggers.
I ask myself the question, if there is, for example, a way to just add a buff to a unit without using an ability. This would make the whole stuff very simple!
