How to create an animated loading screen?

Hi guys, I've been reading some stuff and I know it is possible to make an animated loading screen. I found this tutorial:

However it's tools are no longer available and the tutorial itself is very outdated.
Also I don't have any moding skills, however my idea is very simple and I know want I want.
My question, can some one help me make an animated tutorial please ?

I think so.
However, can some one teach me how to make a model for my loading screen? =P
It would be as simple as making snow flakes fall from the sky =S

Meaning it is completely useless. I don't even know how to use TFT screen (Ice thing with snow flocks falling:http://www.insidemacgames.com/images/wc3exp_001_l.jpg) and how to load it on the model editor the tutorial points... I really need serious help for this =S

what you want to do has nothing to do with this tutorial. This tutorial only does animated textures, but not the effect that you wish.

To create the effect that you wish you must create planes over the loading screen and animate them one by one, since particle emitters won't render in a loading screen.

oh, that one is static snow. All he did was create an image with the snow at a certain point anddo TVertex animations to move the snow down. Nothing special.

If you want snow to look that choppy then follow the tutorial and look at his model, else follow my suggestion.

so puting another geoset, .01 degrees infront of the main loading screen, and animateing it actually works? ive only seen it done the material layer way... also why do they make the loadingscreen models so small, and zoom the camera in? lol.. its the same with all UI..

look at campaign loading screen, the X and the path aren't part of the texture or the main background model, they are overlapped textures.
