How to Avoid Acolytes Being Killed on Secret Valley?

How do the acos get in? You've only got 4 D;
I always used to upgrade one of those pyramidthingies (forgot their name)
to this icetower so the bm just gets slowed and creep in the meantime.
Sacrifice an acolyte. In the end, the BM doesn't get as much exp as you and needs to go heal, which slows his leveling down even more, if you sacrifice about 200 gold.

There's 3 ways to keep Acolytes alive:
1. Frost Tower
2. Heal weak acos with Death Coil
3. Block your base so BM cant get in

build 6th acolyte and scout with it. bm kills it, then maybe leaves the other acolytes alone.

How do the acos get in? You've only got 4 D;

The acos got a smaller pathing map than the BM or Pala. Building correctly would allow acos to get through but not large units such as heroes and large units (such as an abo or crypt fiend).

How about using a Shade to scout instead?

Well shade is too far down the tech line to obtain until BM has slaughtered your acos x5.

best way to defend is buy a nerubian tower and just micro your aco's. until he buys boots he really has no chance.

also, try blocking with other aco's/ghouls.
