Hey, I'm making an old style Resident Evil type of map, where you just shoot a bunch of zombies. What makes it an old style RE is the camera. You'll find out if you google Resident Evil for the PS.

Anyways...
I was wondering how many players would be in the game.
I decided to make it a single player - multiplayer map.
How many players do you think will be perfect?

I don't want a lot, because it doesn't give the feeling of being "alone" or something.

2-4 is reasonable... i think.

to be honest, if u make it 2-4, it cant be that hard, what u should do is 6-10 but make it so u cant see the minimap (making it so u cant see pings or the map), make it so its big, and make the starting poings spread out like 2 people spawn here, then way over there 2 more, and so on so on so they are massively spread out.. then make the camera locked on your person like in some rps! That way, if they are split up, its SUPER hard to find another person and with the pressure of constant zombies whenever u take a turn! that will definatly give u the scary feeling that your going to die, and your very alone, + some scary backround music would top it off :D

Do that except make it randomly place the heros every game so they cant find some place to meet. In case they get caught in a place they cant walk from make a trigger that allows them to be re-placed somewhere else, and turn it off when the zombies start coming

That's a good idea for a multiplayer map.

But... except... my map is a campaign, a single player, that has a small multiplayer compatibility if you know what I mean.

Single player yet still multiplayer? how does that work?

Would it be played on B-Net, or what? and the idea of the rps camera is a great idea for multiplayer. Making it hard to find out where somone else is and even harder to keep track of your surroundings would make for an amazing rps style game.
along with having the feeling of, "I'm all alone!" "What was that noise?!" "Zombies!!"
"Gurgle, Gargle, Gurrr"
