How do you import sounds?

I've been having trouble with this for awhile.... Well when i import from the sound editor sound files i made it has no problem
but i cant import songs threw sound editor they come up blank for some reason when i try to import the songs threw import manage when i try to use them this comes up "This does no appear to be a vaild sound file."

Sound files imported to Warcraft III maps must be sither .mp3 or .wav files. Other file formats may not work properly.
