How do I make a spellbook

I need help making a spellbook. I looked at a forum but it was confusing to me and im very new to map making. Can somone help me out?

Yea I looked at that it confused me. How do I make a " Dummy " spellbook and see the field " Data - Spell List "

Go to the Object Editor and then in the Abilities tab. Press Ctrl+F and press "Spell book" (blank between spell and book). Then, the spellbook ability will appear. Copy and paste it (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V). There, the dummy ability. Then, go to the just pasted ability and scroll down till you find the field "Data - Spells List".

But.... When I went to abilites and pressed Cntrl+F and typed in "SpellBook" no spell book ability appeared.

I said press the spacebar after typing spell. It should look like "Spell book", not "Spellbook".

Is it possible to make a spell book in a spell book ? So that you can have more than 100 Abilities ?

I think not because I tried it and it didn't work or that at least what I found may be there is another way that I don't know.

Tested it for myself and it worked fine (now I have a Spellbook which is named Skills and 3 Spellbooks inside with Storm, Earth and Fire) and you can cast Spells out of each Spell-Book and it won't cause errors..

Thats strange, it didn't work when I tried it. Did you do something special or just a spell book inside another spell book ?

I made the spell book Ability, renamed it, changed button, set max and min spells to 11, change order strind ID to something random and make the Spell Book a unit ability then simply add it in the other book's spell list and you're done...

So that was the problem, the order string ID.
