How do I disable AI completely on a computer player?

Ok, so I gave a hero to a computer player. Even though I didn't specify any AI, it starts using certain abilities on its own like Holy Light, Storm Bolt and stuff.

All Melee-related trigger is deleted as well.

How do I permanently disable AI on computer?

You can just set it to User or None in Player Properties.
If you set it to Computer, there's an internal AI Script that will run that controls all of it's units without exceptions which prevents external scripts to control them.

So there's no way to disable the AI if the player slot is set to computer?

For my purposes, setting the player slot to User or none, while not impossible, is infeasible for my purposes (would require massive change in existing code)

Atleast you should try:

call PauseCompAI( player , true )

I dont know if it will work since I've never used it.

if it is just about the spells you could remove them/silence/mana to 0
From my experience when controlled by any AI units will micro and use abilities

Just do what Blizzard has been doing for the allies controlled by players (i. e. Garithos):
Switch the controls of the player that is your computer to "neutral".

That disables all you want disabled. Only downside is that you have to set all alliances of said
neutral player with triggers.
