How can I switch a map version from 1.27 back to 1.26?

I acidentaly saved it while trying the 1.27 and want to switch back to 1.26, how can I recover the backup or change it back to 1.26 ?

PS: Is there any difference between the world editor from those versions ?

If I remember correct there is a way to recover your map from the MapTest folder or something...

Open up worldedit.exe and re-save your map. Use worldedit121.exe otherwise. JNGP also has like 26 backups.

But, I don't see the point. The editor version you save your map under doesn't really matter.
