how can i make amunition

i just made the atachements so now when a unit picks a item it aperas in its hand but i need help wit h the amunition.How can i make amunition for weapons and when it runs out the weapon becomes useles?

I think the best would be to use item stack and unit group. Then you can use custom value for something else and mana can be used for spells, and you get a display on the unit for how much ammo is left.

oh, and to give a unit inventory just give it the ability inventory (hero) in object editor

omfg i tried to use mana but cant because if unit doest stop atack and it atack continously it wil take just -1 not -1 for every hit, for the start of atack and to use amunition items ITS NOT THAT EASY!!! explain plz

Also, I'd love to help out with your map real good, and just another added Sub-Question for the thread, how do you make unseen ammo, like the ones you see in Undead Assault II? Or you can refer to Undead Assault, every shot they do minus 1 mana over a certain amount of mana, once it reaches zero, a reload word comes on top and the mana gets full again after some time... Another way is when you do each shot, lumber/gold which you put as bullets will minus one, when a 'clip' of bullets is empty, you just reload by clicking on an item to add lumber/gold, simple... Or you can set it that whenever a unit picks up a certain weapon, the model will appear on its hand, and when the mana/whatever you use ammunition for runs out, you just disable its attack or something, maybe make it a condition for the 'ammo' to run out, then make it so that whenever that specific unit tries to use the 'attack' command, it gets reset...

i use mana but i have a prob,when mana runs i set the unit to throw the item(weapon) on the floor but this isnt a good way because other players may steal the item,can u show me a how to disable its atack after he runs out of mana because i cant figure out:cq:
