How can I extract the shadow model?

Hi there, I am looking to extract and modify the unit fly shadow model but can't find it enywhere! I am currently having to place shadows with dummy units but its not very good so would like to cut out the middle man.

I've found the shadow textures but need the model pls if anyone can help?

As far as I know, the shadows that are created for units are images. Therefore, I don't think they have a specific model.

hmm well do you know how I could graft this onto a model or something so I can place shadows on my maps like I would normal doodadl?

I think, if I am not mistaken, that you just have to calculate the shadows and save map. Units generates shadows in WE and in game.
