A unit dies.

Unit-Type = Knight

Create a Footman at Knight's position (either directly on the knight or offset, w/e you want)

loop the movement backwards (easily done when you Get the dying units facing

Order the animation played.

The whole process is easily done, are you not familiar with the trigger editor and need a literal verison? Or were you just unsure about how to set it up? Sorry I didn't just give you a trigger, feeling a-bit lazy.
