Domesticated cats don't have prides or harems. They just mate with whomever crosses their path. Though they do maintain territories that they don't prefer other males entering.

There isn't really any form of 'alpha cat', just a private property sign so to speak, that other male cats are discouraged from entering, but females are often prone to enter when in heat.

When the male kittens grow up they are usually chased off...or eaten before growing up...Yes, Toms do sometimes eat their own young. Tigers are especially known for doing this.
