this is a stupid question and i know you prolly dont look at these posts since this is like 3 months old but, do u know how i go about importing this 'doodad' instead of unit, into the WE so i can palce it?because im thinking its different than importing a unit kind of and im pretty stuck. nice job btw =)

just assign it like you would a unit. In the object editor go to the tab "doodads" and find the doodad you want to replace with this model. Then go to "art-model file" and use the imported model "tree6"....and then change "art-replaceable textures to the skin for this model. and change model variations to 1...it should work.
