free hand means to draw it yourself, what LTGH is saying in layman's terms is that you need to change and/or redraw a larger portion of this texture for it to be approved, this website has rules, one of which states that skins/textures need to be original, at least 75% different from the original blizzard skin. You can not copy and paste pieces from other blizzard skins or online picture, you cant steal other peoples work etc etc, you can see the rest here >HYPERLINK TO SKIN RESOURCE RULES
at the moment this texture is just the hero tauren chieftan texture with multicolored scribbles, a moderator would not approve this quality of work AND he would not approve it because it is hardly even 10% modified.

Good luck trying to pass something off on the Hive by saying that the mods are "too mean." This doesn't really meet any of the requirements for a skin submission, including the 70% freehand one. I wouldn't suggest trying to skin, model, or really do much of anything if you don't have the proper tools...

Anyway, you need to get better at making skins before uploading them, seriously, even if you use paint, it IS possible to make skins that is far much better then this one, you just draw a few lines here and there and then called it evil, and that doesnt make the skin evil, that makes you evil :<

So listen... don't upload shit like this anymore, ever. If you want to learn how to make skins, study some 2D art tutorials, first. Study them... hard (links in my signature).

Ok, as many have told you... this skin is bad, really bad a few lines done in paint doesn't make it omgftwbbqawusum. You should get some free program as pain.net or gimp, they are both about ~15mb and easy to work with. also read rules about skin uploading and 2D tutorials. Oh and for god's sake, get wc3 viewer -_-'

i suggest you get, like anarchianbedlam said, Paint.NET or Gimp. you can start practising on a more simpler skin than this and work your way up to a more complex skin

... yes, it does seem that people have been dumping on this a bit too much, the first few posts got the message across, no need to rage. as for creating skins, ive found that a digital tablet has also been very handy when drawing on computers. the mouse is fine for pointing and clicking and file management or online surfing.... but if you want some nice effects and finer control, i would definitely reccommend getting a tablet, wacom creates very good quality tablets. but i suggest finding one on ebay. (ex. i saw a small size wacom bamboo tablet at bestbuy for 120 dollars, but then i found a 65 dollar medium size wacom graphire tablet on ebay. TABLETS ON EBAY
