CloudWolf: I won't be too quick to reject this completely as you have shown some promise!

I'll give you a chance to improve it :) THW does not accept basic recolors and skins must be 75% your own handiwork. I'de also suggest saving the file at 70% quality as this greatly reduces the file-size without losing quality in-game.

So! To improve it, I'd suggest doing some more free-hand. You can find some excellent tutorials in our forum here

Good start so far though! :)

You can't recolor in white.

Only in Grey, you can't do white.

Plus I have alot more freehand included

I don't think you understand what recolor is. Recolor refers to the fact that the overall design of armor/layout of the texture is the same, but with an alteration of color. What you have done is where the previous armor was red, you made it white. That is a recolor.

That explains it all. Freehand is creating a whole different concept of the skin. armor design, facial changes, skin texture, are all examples of freehand changes. PLUS what your doing is recolouring as a solid colour and with almost no shading and details to give it some more "pizazz" to it. if you try skinning again, (which i believe you might :P) try adding more shading and detail to your freehand.

On another note, try being more creative. we don't need more, Albino Dreadlords or Black Mages. but keep trying. and read some tutorials to help imporve your skills

Recolor. I don't care you say it can't recolor in white (I suppose you use some tool in photoshop, no), you can still recolor pixel by pixel. And that is recolor as well.

Aldo, I do have to admit this could be useful...

I don't get why you people keep repeating 'recolor' when its blatentley obvious that I got the message the first time.

And I used Photoshop, not Paint.Net, the PS I have doesnt have a hue/saturation for white, only gray.

and again I mention there are areas that are not just recolor. I'm actually working on the cape atm..

But it's not obvious that you got the message the first time, especially after you stated that it's not possible to recolor in white.

Most people are simply trying to encourage you to reach for a higher level of artistic accomplishment.

well you submitted the second time this skin and you still were NOT able to read to the rules.
75% of the skin must be freehanded by YOU and not by blizzard.
the chainmail stuff hmmm well:
- it doesnt fit with the acutually skin
- the whole shading is totaly random
- have you ever seen a chainmail-cape?

please do yourself a plesure and post this skin here.
in this submitting-thread of the forum you just get a rejected status, but in the other thread(my link) you might get help, when you start to accept the help of the other users.
the tutorials are also usefull.

please dont go on with submitting recolored or half finished skins.

mhm it does not look like chain.
Without the headline i hadn't even noticed i should look like some
And the albino one was much better
