Hero Leveling Problem

Hey guys i'm making at the moment my own Hero arena and i watched a tutorial on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ktGRw95eLM&feature=relmfu maybe you know that video and i did all the same staff as he did but my hero won't level if he kills any unit :S i'm so confused.... i checked that the behavior "LEVEL" added to the hero and the exp from zerlings is also on 5...

the exp from zerglings is also 5? there are 3 fields! try and check all 3. next ist the range? in which range does your hero gain xp? how many levels does your veteranc skill has? how much is the first, 2nd, and 3rd level?
does your hero actually HAVE the veterancy behavior?

hmmm so i checked now range , veterance skill the 1. needs 20 exp the second needs 40 and the veterance skill is also on behavior!!
but the only thing i don't see is the 3 fields for the exp :S hmmm i just see one and there is the 5 exp can you explain where are the others??

2 are in behavior tab:
taken damage (veterancy) and caused damage (veterancy)
one in combat tab: kill - xp

i would do some experiments with all 3 stats.

can you set the level of your unit by trigger? if yes we would know if your behavior works. so it must be about gaining xp.
