[TD] Gameplay [/TD]

You always wanted to become a mighty hero? Or even a God?
Then i have good news for you!

In Hero Binders two teams fight for the right to call themselves Gods.
To achieve this Task they are ordered to kill an ancient Demon that only appears once every 1000 Years. A desperate race to glory starts.

Defend your Castle against hordes of monsters, while getting stronger and merging you own Body with powerful creatures. Craft mighty Items to crush your Enemy or to challenge giant Bosses.


The map consist of 5 Areas you need to go through.
Three defense Areas and two Bosses. To win you need to keep your Castle Alive and kill the Endboss before the other Team does. If you want you can send Units to slow down or even kill the Enemy and if you get in trouble yourself you can buy Items or support minions like a healer etc.

now...how do i get to the next area?

Thats simple! Push through the outward facing lane and obtain the key for the gate on the other lane.

But...the creeps are so strong!

No problem my small apprentice!
you can merge yourself with mighty creatures to get stronger heroes.
For this you go into the Bind zone, that is located in the middle of the map and kill the strong Neutral creeps. Every creep stands for one attribute and has a different bind Effect. But beware! in the Bind area both teams can meet...so watch out or die!

First: thanks for that really quick review!

Presentation: didnt expect anything else...im bad at terraining and everything else is basically a tech prototype....will get better in future updates. Maybe ill have to get help for that.

Triggering: yeah....when i found out about that whole leak stuff i was halfway through and couldnt get myself together to fix it. Will do. (Even though im not sure when xD)
Endboss will be completely reworked at some point. So this will stay, for the time being, as it is. (Hopefully not that long)

Design: im happy you like the idea! Thats what i love to do. Designing mechanichs and gameplay, as well as content....im not that good at making it a real thing in the editor...i just lack the skills. (At least im getting better slowly but surely :) )

Gameplay:

1. Will fix it!

2. Sorceres is intended to be sort of a crowd control/ aoe class, while footman a tank and rifleman a single target nuke. You can adjust the specialisation as you wish later on in the map through your binds.

3. Those 2 abilities are your base ones. When you bind (wich is the key feature of this map) you get new ones every 3 binds (1, 4, 7....). Since i have not made a tutorial or anything in this direction yet im not surprised it got lost. Any idea how i can make it clear from the beginning?

Presentation : Yeah, both terrain and the public showing is not really promising at this stage. If I wasn't at night in bored mood I might not even take this a shot. I mostly refer to the thread presentation there though, should be clearer.

Triggering : For now, it's negligible but better be safe than sorry. Fixing a bug in a ton of system is a chore comparing to debug them early in development.

Design : Keep a steady pace at development as your skill grows would be a great idea.

Gameplay :
2. I see now. I thought it's a cleave idea. Wait, might be good to implement for my map use, thanks.
3. Didn't really notice the binding. Perhaps via text or Quest log (I think you did, but I just don't check the log. My bad)
