So year or two or more ago, I created a bnet account to get opted in for sc2. I enter my sc cd-key and years later I forgot the name of the account that has the cd-key in it. When I try to make a new one and enter my cd-key in it, it says it's already in use. Is there anyway for me to get that account back? Possibly email blizzard with the cd-key and ask them for my account info?

There's this feature that most account-systems use that is called a Lost Password Interface, where you submit some data you registered when you made the account, usually e-mail address and/or a secret question. You should try it.

That situation sucks.
But yes, the best thing to do would be to mail blizzard, but beware : There are many scammers out there, if you mail the wrong one, they will possibly steal your account using the same method?
