THIS PROBLEM IS NOW [Solved] (don't know how to change the tag  )

My WE is fucked up! :eekani:
This might be hard to formulate...

"The game itself doesn't detect my custom spells"

I can create the spell, I can modify the spell, I can "attach" it to a hero. No problems so far.

Then comes the problem. I try the map to check out my new spell. The problem is that the spell doesn't exist in the Hero Ability List when I try learn it. Instead there's just a black "hole" which I can't click on.

I have WarCraft III The Frozen Throne 1.22.0.6328 and the only thing I've modyfied is a tool called "World Editor Unlimited 1.20" (can be found in the Tools section). The add-on is now uninstalled.

Please, don't give me tips like "Are you sure it's a hero unit?" or "Are you sure that the spell is attached?"
I told you that I've done World Editor lots of times before but now it doesn't work.

There are known issues with WEU. The issue in this matter is probably that you used Test Map in WEU. That function does not work correctly. I believe you have to test it by starting Warcraft III and open it in Single Player --> Custom Game. You'll have to place your map in the Maps folder first though (Default is C:/Program Files/Warcraft III/Maps). Warcraft III also detects sub-folders in the Maps folder.

mh I would open the map with the normal we and then save it...
That worked for me... or open the map with the normal we and make the spell again?

I don't know...

I did uninstall the WEU and after that the WE got the problem.

Problem solved anyway, I reinstalled WarCraft III, works fine now.
Only solution for now though...

Btw how do I change the tag to [Solved]?

Can happen if you use campaign editor or abilty is based on one of passive item abilities

The thing is I based the ability of Thunder Clap (AHtc) and just attached it to Paladin (in the same field as the other abilities).
The Ability didn't show up in Hero Abilities of the hero.

I tried to attach it to Mountain King (replacing his original Thunder Clap ability)
That didn't work either... There was a empty field where Thunder Clap should've been.

But as I said it's fixed now, I reinstalled the game (easy cuz every custom file was kept  )
