I need help wite a texture.
the programs im using is gimp for coloring the texture and BLPconv to convert and at last War3ModelEditor to editor and add texture.
how i have done it.
1 extrated the texture to my desktop.
2 converted to tga.
3 edited it in gimp
4 converted to blp.
5 open the model in this case gaul
6 open texture manager
7 imported the texture in this case goblin.blp
8 open materiel manager and changed the unit\undead\gaul\gaul.blp to goblin.blp.
and i can see the modul wite my texture and here comes the problem.
i save the model as goblin.MDX and open world editor imported my model.
Mate a new unit call it goblin and trait to change the model to war3mapImported\goblin.MDX but then world editer changed it to war3mapImported\goblin.mdl and custom instead of imported. and when i I’m in game the unit is only a shadow and it can't be selected.
i have tried to import the texture, saved the module as a mdl.
also trait to make the full path to the old texture but then it was the old texture that was in the game.
