Half-Strike health

im working on a move that drains enemy health to half of the original based off of lotus swarm. heres what i have

Events: Unit begins to Cast spell.

Conditions: Spell is equal to "Half-Strike""

Actions: *pointless special effects*

unit group-add all units to (units withn800.00 of (position of casting unit) to GROUP

unit-group- pick every unit in (last created unit group and do (unit-set life of (triggering unit) to 50.00%)

run it with a crypt lord against 5 zombies, use it and nothing happens, how can i get them to go to 50% of their health?

Do not do set life to 50%
It will make enemy units less then 50% health heal back to 50% health.

use order each unit in unit group to damage itself for life of itself divided 2(since you want it to do 50% damage

i guess it should drain life and its also a chenneling spell so you have to persiodically check if the triggering is alive and then pick all units whitin range, matching that thei're ebenys of the owner of the triggering unit check if their life is not below 50% of their max and set their hp to 50% of their max and heal set the hp of the triggering unit to its acutal health + the maximum health of the picked unit / 2 .

umm, its not a channeling spell

Isnt the problem the red part in the previous line...

it should be... (picked unit) no?

and you need to change the green part... the part about just to 50%

set the life to picked units current life - (current life/2)
