Hi guys,

I'm new here, actually found the forum whilst digging around looking for tutorials on creating icons the GUI's.

By trade I'm a web designer and spend a lot of time building websites for an array of different clients. Just recently I begun to explore web design for gaming websites as this is something that really interests me. I was wondering if you guys can link me to any nice tutorials that can help one understand the process of creating a really nice gui/ui/ux for sites of these genres. I'll take a stab in the dark and guess that the sites I've linked are created by painting as I would imagine the elements would be quite complex to make using the pen tool in photoshop and illustrator. I would really appreciate anyone's input.

Thanks in advance.

Here are some of the examples that I would love to know how they were achieved. I'm mainly focusing on the filigree/ornate elements around the navigation etc etc.
