[Trigger] Growth System

Hi all,

I'm working on a map that functions similarly to the dungeons in WoW. I'm trying to make a "Growth"-like system for one of my bosses, sort of like Gruul from World of Warcraft.

The trigger would function something like this:

"After [boss] acquires a target, wait X seconds and then remove [critical strike] and add [new critical strike] to [boss] and increase size by [%]. Then wait for X seconds and remove [old critical strike] and add [new critical strike], and increase size of [boss] by [%]."


This would occur for four different "growths" and the abilities attached to them, followed by an enrage-like ability. I've tried to trigger it myself, but I'm not having much luck with it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention, when I attempted to do this with triggers, the boss wouldn't stay at one particular size for the time I set it at, and would play the special effect animation several more times than intended.
