Goblin Merchant That is a Unit

    I have seen in many maps shops like the goblin merchant that work like units (can be set to face any direction. have a small enough collision size so that they can stand in a crowd. I tried this with a goblin merchant and all i got was a unit that had a small collison size but still could not be placed within 5 squares of another unit (squares as in squares on the grid (Ctrl + G) that couldn't sell items. Please help me!

    I believe you have to disable whatever pathing map you are using, not just the collision size. It should be listed in the merchant's properties in the object editor.

    Pick the goblin merchant and:

    1 Remove the Ground Texture.
    2 Remove the Building Shadow.
    3 Remove the Pathing Map.
    4 Set "Is a building" = false.
    5 Add a movement speed.
    6 add a turn rate.
    7 setup the collision as you wish.
