Tbh, experienced Spell Maker focuses on functionality instead of L3TS SPAM T3H SPECIUL AFEK!!111ELEVEN.

This spell does nothing except, damaging units ? - judging from the video I guess.

If so, then this is not even close to a moderate quality of a spell.

Also, is this MUI ?

Thank you very much for your opinion . I'm currently making a spellpack . I will soon upload it once I make it MUI and with no leaks
@defskull

Imo, those spells are not usable in a map, so suxx (well, the fact they can't be used in maps).
You're spamming effects too much, the camera moves shouldn't be there, it's more disturbing than anything else when you're playing.

The idea on the first spell is interesting, but you have to change some things. The area should be way smaller, i would also remove all effects except the spinning fire and make the fire start from where the caster is (so the spell would damage enemies who are meleeing you).

The second spell could be nice also, but i would make the circle spam instantly (instead of making it appear graduately), and make the circle start at ground (and not going at the sky at start) and slowly going upper (that's for the esthetic part).

Also, i don't totally agree with defskull. Spells combine both functionnality and special effects. A spell with really good ideas and coding is nothing without a decent visual, as a spell with cool visuals suxx if it does nothing interessant or if the visual doesn't match what the spell does. Spell making is a combination of both the spell concept (and coding) and visual effects, neither should be too exaggerated or inexistant. Don't forget that spells are meant to be put in playable maps, and not just eyecandy things you create to impress the others.

@Vladadamm

I respect your opinion , But I have some points :
1- I'm using fraps so the spell lags . it doesn't lag if it's played without fraps .
2- Actually there are no special effects . They are all dummies that damage ( expect of the gate)
3- About the fire that starts from the caster , that's a good idea .
4- There is no way to make the beams start from the bottom and then fly . Also , I made the circle close gradually so enemy have a chance to escape or not . the beams are such a pathing blocker , when they are making a spell , every enemy who is escaping will be damaged if a beam touches it . then inside the circle , there are shadow strikes randomly to damaging every unit inside the circle .
5- Why would I make this thread ? It's because I want suggestions , what I remove and what I add. Anyways , Thanks

1. I understand, but the thing is that the spell might cause lag in real situation (so, ingame on a real map) on old and/or bad computers.
2. I'm not talking about special effects. I'm talking about visual effects, so yeah the visual part of the spell, that includes dummies that have a model, and everything else the player will see ingame.
4. Imo, warcraft 3 is really limited in terms of visual effects models, so using custom models can be an option (as long as they're clean and don't take more than 20-25kb ofc), but well in lack of fitting custom model, you can't do much about it. Else, i understand your point about the circle and the chance to escape.
