This was happening to my friend all day yesterday. He came over today and we were playing LAN and whoever wasnt the host got disconnected. Anyone know whats wrong?

firewalls down nothing seems to be wrong with my router and what is this splitter you mention?

Splitter is something that splits a connection in multiple connections .. I don't know how it is properly named in english

If they disc on LAN something probably is wrong with your router.
You could try just a connection between two computers by a cable and see if that works.
