[JASS] GetTerrainType()?

I notice there is a gui function that changes terrain type, but is there any way to get a terrain type?

Or any way to restore the terrain to what is was originaly using jass?

So you change the terrain type, then
RestoreDefaultTerrainAtLoc(a)

?

That would be sooo awesome!
