Game gets VERY choppy - help!

Hey, gang - I'm not an IT guy, but my Frozen Throne game gets a hiccup fairly often and starts getting choppy with periodic delays.. and then gets worse. I run Windows and my graphics card is updated. Any thoughts?

Any help would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Use XP SP3 compatibility, might do the case.

If you are using a laptop it could be overheating.

If you are running a custom map then chances are the map has major memory leaks with its triggers.

In that case, he better buy a fan for the laptop, cost around 180K Rupiahs (~US$16.00) if I recall.

For the trigger issue, well, that kinda need evaluation for the map.

Also, do your laptop/PC is overheating.

That helps to an extend. However, I myself has no issues with WE running on background playing Warcraft 3.
Some background apps might also needed by the user, especially antivirus.
