Frost/Ice/Snow spells?

Hey, I'm looking for some ideas for frost-styled spells/abilities and wondered if anyone here would have some good ideas..?

Ice Torrent - freezes all enemies in front of the caster in blocks of ice (mass stun)
Icicle Flurry - hurles loads of icicles at all enemies around the caster, dedaling damage (based off fan of knives). if icicles hit frozen units, the frozen units shatter, taking immense dmg
Shattering Ice - passive. causes shattering frozen units to release Icicile Flurry too.


just an idea that popped in my head =)

Oh well... i will try my best =)

Cold Wave: A wave that freezes units that touches it for XX seconds and dealing XX damage. Afterwards will reduce their movement speed by XX% over XX seconds.

Cold Blood: Will harden the caster and turn it into Ice, this will increase armor by XX, reduce damage taken by XX but reduce the casters movement speed by XX%.

Frost Nova: Like the basic Frost Nova, but this will freeze the target unit in place and slow nearby enemy units dealing XX damage. Lasts for XX seconds.

Freezing Ring: Freezes all enemy and friendly units in XXX range of the caster, the caster will also be frozen to the ground, but will be healed by XXX hit points. Lasts for XX seconds.

Total Frost: Completely freezes a target enemy unit untill a other unit attacks it, while frozen, the target will take XX damage over time. Lasts for ?? seconds.

Snow Shock: Blasts the target enemy unit with Snow dealing XX damage, the snow bothers the target unit, making it miss by XX% on attacks and reduces movement speed by XX%. Lasts for XX seconds.

Ice Shard: A massive Ice Shard will fall from the sky hitting the CASTER, the caster will take XX damage but because of the massive impact of ice, every unit near the caster will have their movement speed reduced by XX% (good escape trick).

Snow Path: Creates snow in a location, every unit walking on it will have their movement and attack speed reduced by XX%.

Cold Winds: Instantly recudes all units of the entire maps movement speed by XX% but not the casters (Global Effect). Lasts for XX seconds.

Confusing Frost: Will freeze a target unit so much that it will be confused. The unit will move to a random location without control and take XX damage over time. Effect lasts for XX seconds.

Hm.. what about an ability that does almost the same thing, but makes the owner of target loose control of the unit (neutral hostile) for X seconds.. :mwahaha:

I can't believe no one did like a Frostbolt or something... Anyway...

Frostbolt - The caster throws a bolt of ice, damaging any non ice based creature, and healing any ice creatures for half damge. (Like holy Light or Death Coil, only a different element and swapped on the damage/heal.)

Ice Elemental - Summons a ball of space ice that stuns enemy units on the ground, and deals minor damage. A ice demon rises from the shattered ball to fight for the caster for a limited time. At max level, it stays permantly until it dies, but there will be a max of one elemental. Three levels. Each level increases health, damage, and armor by 50% of the level before it. (Basically, if it starts with 800 hits, the second level will have 1200 and resistant skin(magic damge is cut in half), then the third has 1800 hits, with spell immunity and the frostbolt ability, at second level.)

Brain Freeze - Takes 5% HP from the caster, and then silences the enemy unit for XXX seconds.

Water Walk - Creates ice beneath the caster, allowing the hero to walk on water :D

Ice, mate. Combat stuff.

Anyway, thanks! I'm using the ice elemental in my map. I came up with it on a whim, and wejnt,'That's badass! I'm using a Cryomancer now!' x3

Cold Skin - enemies deals X% less damage because your skin is covered in ice.
Icicle spikes - release spikes all around you, deals X damage and cripples all damaged enemies (cripple, slows enemies MS by 75% and AS by 50% for 6 seconds)
Melting Frost - Turns attack into water, freezing enemies after 8 seconds for 1 seconds. then slows them down by 50% after the freeze effect, gradually giving back their movespeed and attackspeed by 10% per second.
(melting frost drains 12 mana per attack, buff stacks for 5 times)
