Project Desription
Fortress is based upon a variation of the popular Battle.net game, Footmnen Frenzy (by TheBigGame), but it is centered around a fortress scene. Opponents battle their way to the top of eachother's hilltop bases to try to ultimately eliminate them completey.
The terrain is rather simplistic, but that is because the map is focused more predominantly on gameplay. The setup of the map allows for more strategy in the movement and use of troops.
-Playable with 26 heroes normally (3 out for maintenence at the moment)
-Lots of custom spells and unique aspects of gameplay
-11 purchasable support units, each with abilities that can, if used properly, change the flow of a battle
-Extensive balancing and trial to attempt to eliminate a majority of errors
The map is technically still a beta version, though I have worked to get most of the bugs out. Your support through testing and feedback are a vital part in my plans for the final release of the map.
Though I have done the extreme majority of the work on the project, I have had some help in balancing and in spell ideas from both 13anshi and Bob_3.0, and I thank them for that.
Expected in 1.7:
-Fully functional AI
-Four new heroes, including (probably) the Time Mage, the Assassin, the Geomancer, and the Wind Sage.
-Lots and lots of balancing... my favorite....
-Some different items
-New secret modes of gameplay (activated by certain events)

Though I trust The Hive members, I know there are a lot of lazy people in the world who try to take credit for that which is not theirs. I have, therefore, protected the map. However, moderators and respected members that wish to see my extremely disorganized triggers or anything else can PM me for an unprotected version.
I don't have the time now, but I will have a couple screenshots up within the next 72 hours.
