Format of Spell maps?

why do spell maps look like a Zip File?

isnt it better if they were uploaded directly as a map format? is it because of spell packs or something (I never seen a pack in more than one map, except the map packs or campaigns)?

I think some of these questions you should ask Ralle, Killcide and/or Archian. This is not an issue so it hardly needs its own thread.

The point is to include the readme so you have the information on who to credit and the description the author wrote at hand.
